Stephen Sprouse inspires Louis Vuitton (again!)

Soho’s Louis Vuitton Boutique is celebrating Stephen Sprouse’s work this week onwards. The artist and designer was famous in the 80s for his reinterpretation of the streetwear style. Green Street’s shop-front is entirely draped in fluorescent graffiti vinyles, while the interior is decorated with black bricks also decorated with graffitis. The whole new Louis Vuitton inspired by Sprouse collections has been on preview since Thursday 8th and as well as being a hit with the media it has also been with LV fans!

(Stephen Sprouse was a friend of Marc Jacobs, with whom he had designed in 2001the it-bags Monongram Graffiti collection. In 2006, Marc Jacobs had already payed a tribute to him by launching a leopard-pattern scarf initially designed by Sprouse. It was an instant hit)
